Judaism is amongst the Abrahamic religions . Above Judaism , the Abrahamic religions constitute the Islam and the Christianity . The foundations of Judaism are based on various conceptions amongst which are their views on God . It is part of the monotheists believing religions who has the belief for one God as the ruler and the controller of the universe Judaism is based on the foundations of various attributes based on ethics and religious codes of conduct . religion , they belief in Abraham as their founding ancestor . Its foundations are based on various principles and conceptions that model it towards aligning within some principle codes of religious authenticity

The basic theology of Judaism has its basis on the Hebrew Bible . It has the belief of the God 's commandments and the aspect of nature that is revealed by the Moses writings called the Torah . Important writings also include that of the psalmists and the prophets . The nature and the reference to the Supreme Being is through various ways which include Adonai , and Elohim . They use the word God and Lord to bring the imagery of the Supreme Being (Ronald , 1995

The revelation of God in Judaism is through Tanakh which is the Hebrew acronym standing for Torah . The intertestamental period within the Jewish culture views God as the most Supreme Being and who created the universe . He was the controller of the contemporary universe with His control still been of importance even at the current time . The control of the universe by the Supreme God was through the inclination of the 613 commandments that were developed as strong pillars of the religion To them , the interrelationship between God and man was through rewards for the good deeds done by man and punishment for any bad deeds done by man . Being the controller and the creator of the contemporary universe His expectations from man were deemed high . Every man was expected to accord a divine and a spiritual adoration to God (Jimmy , 1998

The strong conviction of God as a whole created a strong difference with the Christian view of Trinity of God . The revolutionary conception for their God is that He is one and could not be divisible in any constituent components . Consequently , they perceived God as shielded by uniqueness and unity that was modeled in terms of super creative force He was bestowed with the power of creating all the fundamentals both worth and unworthy for human life . With His Supreme ability , the Jews believed of God as incomparable to any other evil force in terms of controlling the contemporary universe .
