Introducing Christian Doctrine
Introduction This book report Introducing the Christian Doctrine ' will help us know and learn about the nature of God , His Creation Man , and the life of Jesus Christ and his Church . The doctrines teach us about the Almighty God and his work . It helps us know about the Life of Man- To know and Love God . It deals with the final end of man , beatitudes and the ways of reaching it Part One : The Doing of Theology Modern theology is characterized by an acute awareness of the historicity of the interpreter

and an equal passion to relate to
what contemporary people bring to the text . It is as if the
awareness of our time-bound condition has made us determined to
conform theology to our situation rather than to protect it from
possible corruption . I see the current tendency to relate theology to
struggles of the present day , while commendable if it were to
represent a desire to apply the Scriptures , to be a recipe for
Scripture-twisting on a grand scale . The desire to be relevant has
overcome the desire to be faithful to God 's Word with the result
that a great accommodation is taking place . The concern of the
doctrine and its teaching must be directed to love that never ends
Whether something is proposed for belief , for hope or for action
the love of our lord must always be made accessible , so that
anyone can see that all the works of perfect Christian virtue will
spring from love and have no other objective than to arrive at
love
Part Two The Revelation
God revealed himself and given himself to man . He
provided the definitive superabundant answer to the question that
man asks himself about the meaning of his life . He revealed to man
by communicating his own mystery in words and deeds . Beyond
the witness God created the things manifested himself to our
ancestors , spoke to them and promised them salvation (cf .Gen3 :15 .Everlasting covenant with Noah and all the
living beings (cf . Gen 9 :16 ) the forces will remains till the world
lasts . God made a Covenant with Abraham and his
descendants . He formed his people and revealed his law to Moses
He prepared them to accept the salvation destined to all humanity
through his covenant . God fully revealed himself by sending his
own son to establish his covenant . The son spread his Father 's
word that there will be no further Revelation after him
Part Three Nature of God
Hear , O Israel , the Lord our God is one Lord ( Dt 6 :4
Mk 12 :29 ) The supreme being must be unique , without equal
If God is not one , he is not God (Tertullian , Adv . Maec , 1 , 3 ,5
PL 2 ,274 .Faith in God leads us to turn to him alone as our first
origin and our ultimate goal , and neither to prefer anything to him
nor to substitute anything for him . Even when He reveals himself
God remains a mystery beyond words ' If you...
