- Chose Hawaii because it is exotic and she wants to study in America

Sees not much difference between German and American media

Passionate about dancing

Coaches a young competitive dance team

German carnival resembles a little royal court she was carnival princess three years ago , and enjoyed it very much has performed all over Bavaria

Julia Hildebrand is originally from Germany where she earned her Bachelor 's degree in American studies , Media Studies , Intercultural Studies , and Oral Communication at the University of Regensburg . She is currently a graduate student at the same university , but has decided to go abroad for her Master 's first semester , which has then brought her to Hawaii

She used to be an exchange student in Wisconsin , and has wanted to come back ever since . She also wanted the most exotic place she could find and Hawaii seemed to her the perfect combination

She does not see much difference in German and American media other than the latter being more of an alarmist than the former
