In the events of war choices are made easily because of the presence of good and evil in the decision mindset . Thus , lives are not placed into greater importance compared with the justification of doing things right . War never resolves conflicts . Only after it has produced a substantial death toll that warring parties force a stalemate in to prevent `more deaths , all of which could have been avoided if conflict were to be reasonably settled in the first place
