However , we have not yet established a retail partner outside the country . Hence we are in need of retail partners outside the country thaw would help us in distributing our products outside the country . However , we have not yet established retail partners outside the country and so we are in need of a retail partner that would aid us in distributing our products to other countries . In to do this , we studied other similar companies through internet research and examined their marketing strategies as well as their operations in other countries . These companies are Best Buy Co , Inc , CompUSA , Wal-Mart Stores , Inc . and Carrefour
CompUSA was founded as Soft Warehouse on October 1984 in Dallas , Texas as Soft Warehouse selling direct to business customers . In 1991 , it changed its name to CompUSA and launched as an online retail company in 1996 . The company 's strategy in drawing customers includes no restocking fees on returned products . Customers can always check online for prices and availability of products . However , CompUSA has not yet penetrated customers internationally . They have stores on different locations in the US but has not yet opened an international office outside of the country
Best Buy Co , Inc . was started with a different name , Sound of Music in 1966 by Richard Schulze and his business partner . In 1983 , the store changed its name to Best Buy Co , Inc . In 2002 , it expanded its branches in Toronto , Canada when it opened its first retail store there In to be launched internationally , the company acquired Five Star Appliances in China in 2003 . The company employs locals as leaders of their branches in the country . Today , it operates offices in Beijing and Shenzhen which helps them in purchasing products straight from manufacturers .
