Purpose

We are hereby proposing a public relations research on ways we can counter the continued decrease of our customer base .Occasioned by stiff competition from a recently opened food joint across the street .Our recommendation , based on a well thought out strategy , is

that you sanction a research to establish our customers and the general public 's preference for a monthly indoor games tournament . This public relations exercise is in line with the organizations long term goals of delivering the best customer relations service in the city . Also , too , it is along the neighbourhood 's tradition of passion for indoor games

Problem

It has been recently indicated in our quarterly reports that the Trattoria 's sales have recorded a sharp decline of about 30 . A survey conducted by the sales and marketing department explained the shortfall to have occurred from the month of December 2006 .This coincides with the opening of a rival food joint across the street

The above table is an indicator of the dismal performance of the sales department in , despite having been marked as being one of the public 's favourite eatery of all time for two years in a row .This decline has been consequenced by the entry of other strong competitors breaking a chunk of our once royal customer base . A report compiled from the Customer Feedback Program indicates our customers are still satisfied with our meals and services hence this cannot be used to explain the waning royalty

Our competitors have been applying both price and non price incentives to woo and consolidate their clientele .Our prices still remain the most competitive in the market , but our public relations stunts still lag behind those of our rivals who have in the past few months engaged in a string of public relation campaigns

Solution

Our organization cannot afford to be left behind and watch our dominance in the market dwindle day by day .
