An in depth analysis of the work must be done in which the interpretation will be based on the context of the artist and the painting . Another approach is in learning from a work of art itself . The focus will not be on the context of the art piece but on the art piece itself . The details and the elements are very important so one must have an open and be very observant to be able to interpret it in a right way
In the creation of a work of art , the elements of art are very essential since they are the building blocks . Each element has importance in the piece of art . What the artists do is emphasize on one or two elements or organize it to send the message across to its audience
Lines are important as it creates the concept of the object on the medium . The shape is that which is inside the line . The form takes up the space in the medium . The most expressive among the element is the color and the use of value makes it more special and gives color depth Texture gives the illusion of the object as something that is close to real . It can either be an actual feel of the surface , or it can be something that is implied . Space creates a depth to the art piece as a whole
