With the increasing number of diversifying classrooms , principals have shifted their responsibilities to mere administrative work towards increased participation in management and ensuring the welfare of the whole student body is achieved . The first one involves setting up goals for the school among its faculty and students . Instructional leaders must see to it that all these objectives are in-line with the mission statement of the educational institution . Without the sufficient amount of resources for students , only limited outcomes can be extracted which could spell unsuccessful management on the part of the principal .
