The challenges and benefits associated with Information Technology are immense and yet one needs to be able to hold the steering wheel to IT development firmly in to reap these benefits . One of the strongest challenges to Information Technology is its integrity , accuracy and reliability . After reading Chapter 5 , I realized that information systems need to be broken down into the transaction , decision and communication systems for effective management and integration .
