The American government has been looked at as one of the world 's best organized governments . That may be true , basing the argument on the fact that it is a beacon of light as far as democracy and civil rights are concerned . It is known to give aid to the third world countries and basically dominate the world 's economy . It is also known for its ability to give the biggest donations and loans to other

countries . But the occurrence of the hurricane Katrina was a good indicator that our leadership does not deserve all that much credit after all .
