A proposal is to be submitted by the director Human Resource to the CEO JVA Corporation in response to the global financial crisis which has affected the company to a great extent . Performance management appraisal process and compensation packages need to be addressed as they affect the company 's profitability the most

Strategy

As the Director HR , I would go for the third strategy which involves a thorough review of the guidelines

for performance management pf the company . It will also involve the review of mission and goals for JVA Corp . and of individual employee 's needs and compensation packages

As mentioned performance management is not just performance reviews and appraisals , instead it is continuous processes which involves communicating employee 's acceptable level of performance , facilitating employee performance and then encourage him to give the same level of performance . It is the process of creating a specific work environment where people can perform to the best of their abilities . Thus it is all about managing an employee , his appraisal process and compensation package

The mission and goal of JVA is continuous innovation to improve productivity and performance which would eventually lead to enhanced customer satisfaction .
