HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

My generation went through unique experiences that any other generation might not have experienced . From my personal point of view , my generation experienced the greatest impact of computerization . When I was in my grade and high school years , we could only prepare our reports using a typewriter . A student would seem advanced if were able to use a simple Apple or IBM compatible computer to which one could feed these large floppy disks . As we moved on to college , the upgrade in computers were greatly visible and so

all of us had to learn and adapt to these changes . Our generation saw the spread of the Internet across the globe and this has influenced us in our actions and decisions (Watanabe et al , 2002 , even if we did not seriously reflect on it . Computerization and digitalization of technologies also improved communication systems like the telephones , wherein we used to have an operator to assist us in calling another country but now at the push of a combination of numbers we can call anywhere around the world

My generation also experienced the discovery and spread of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV , which is known to cause the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS .
