knowledge and skills further This would help the organization to achieve their goals and to grow and develop further Training is also required because skills and knowledge may be lost or get attenuated over a period of time (especially due to nonuse When the staff members are exposed to a system , they would develop attitudes . Training is able to create positive attitudes and reduces negative ones that are present CHALLENGES TO TRAINING SN - As training can have several benefits on the effectiveness of the organization , it would also have certain challenges . The management should determine these problems and control them in a systematic manner The lower level management should be identify any deficiency in the competency and the skills of the staff members and ensure that any need for training is recognized The higher level management may not allocate this responsibility to the lower level management The organization should not utilize the traditional system of training . Instead they should use multimedia , modern devices and software programs Usually an organization would not be giving greater emphasis on training CHALLENGES TO TRAINING The effects of training and the impact it would be having is usually not determined An organization would usually not consider working in collaboration with another organization specialized in training Usually in any organization , training is not distributed in an equitable manner . Some staff may receive a good amount of training , whereas the others may not receive any training at all Besides , some staff members may require a great amount of training (for a particular post ) whereas others may require just minimal amounts of training Training should be conducted according to the need , education levels of the staff , motivation levels , previous experience , etc HAVING A TRAINING SYSTEM IN PLACE SN - In reality , the management should consider having a training system in place that would determine the need for training and accordingly train the staff The main aim of this training system would be to fine tune the human resources skills , knowledge and attitudes towards meeting the objectives of the organization The training needs of specific staff members need to be determined at first This can be done by various means including :- Having discussions with a representative sections of the staff and their supervisors Having interviews with these staff members Using the information present in the performance appraisal forms Conducting observations of the work Conducting tests and simulation sessions HAVING A TRAINING SYSTEM IN PLACE As per the training...
