the field of HR . The International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS ) focuses on the same issue of providing compensation and benefits , however , it is centered on the improvement of skills and knowledge of HR staff that review and grant these benefits and compensations to employees , rather then to the staff itself
The most interesting HR professional association is the SHRM , for the reason that it provides comprehensive information and resources that aids HR professionals as well as aspiring HR professionals like me Although the ASTD functions like the SHRM , the website does not offer significant facts or pieces of information that are readily available for website visitors . The SRHM and the assistance and resources that it provides are relevant to the occupation I am pursuing . Moreover , it answers all the requirements or essentials for career development in to improve my HR skills and knowledge and provide me with the necessary experience . These , I believe , would help me to advance my career and earn me a high position eventually . The members of the organization range from legal counsels , consultants , and administrators up to the presidential or chairmanship positions

At present , the organization has members from over 125 countries , with 225 ,000 members . SHRM has also expanded its reach to HR professionals by establishing offices in two foreign countries . The mission or objective of the organization is achieved by the organization by offering broad , up-to-date , and relevant information and resources for members of the organization . The organization also acknowledges the HR profession 's role in organizational strategy , therefore , it goes through all things possible and necessary in to establish its weight and importance in partnering with organizations
In to become a member of the association , SHRM requires respective fees for HR professionals , students , and membership renewals . HR professionals within the United States and its territories shall be charged 160 . The same is charged for HR professionals outside the U .S and its territories , however , for those who are only interested in online membership , only 95 shall be charged .
