In this regard both factors are to be cited as important reasons behind a man 's pursuance of reaching a certain goal whether it is directed towards an individual or a company achievement . The following scenarios shall showcase the primary role of fear and learning in human motivation processes

First Scenario (On Fear

An employee has incurred numerous failures in completing projects that has been given to him by the primary management staff of the company that he is working for . After several times of not being able to reach the standards of the company regarding the job assigned to him , the upper management office has forwarded him with a memo saying that if he does not create better results for the upcoming projects that would be assigned to him , they would be left with no choice but to fire him

Upon reading the memo , the employee tried to evaluate his own work and tried to study further on the projects that have been handed to him prior to the notice that has been passed unto him . Hence , his fear of loosing his job has directly motivated him to do accordingly to the request of the management regarding the adjustment and improvement that he has to do with regards his job assignments . As a result , his performance improved and his clients were more satisfied than those others whom he has served before the memo was given to him

Here , it could be noted that the fear of loosing one 's job is a motivational tool that could move an employee to further see to it that he does his job well . As obviously seen , the management of the company where the said employee was working used the memo they sent to him as a wake up call . They knew that the employee could do better than what he is doing . However , because of some measures of frustration , he is not bale to give out his best . As for their part , they saw that the need of calling the attention of their employee though inciting in him the fear of loosing his job is an effective way to help him improve his ways for his own good
