This revolves around the purge of the Armenians that happened in 1915-1916 by the ruling government of Turkey . We further assume that the happening was not mere `incident , just as what the Turkey government is currently appealing . It is , indeed , a genocide , since it is committed in cold blood by the deliberate fiat of holders of despotic political power , and that the perpetrators . employ all the resources of present-day technology and organization to make their planned massacres systematic and complete (Excerpts from UN Report on Genocide , 1985 ,
