Introduction

Protestantism reformation remains one of the historical events in the Christianity . It was a Christian reform movement that started in Europe beginning with Martin Luther 's ninety five Theses though there had been other predecessors who didn 't make a huge impact like Luther . Although the movement later ended , many of the denominations that arose still exist today . There are many reasons why the movement recorded relative success in countries like Germany , Scandinavia and Switzerland but most important is the fact that there had been no other daring

movement that questioned the church like the Reformation movement . The movement also appealed to all classes who had felt tired of corruption in the Roman Catholic Church like sale of indulgencies . Through domestication of reformation , there was widespread adoption of reformation ideals which led to dismantling of ancestry religious institutions and rise of new social . To end Protestantism , the Roman Catholic Church responded by establishment of tribunals of in inquisition . However , protestant movement spread rapidly throughout Europe as people were yearning for change
