Glenroy is classed as a Premium Station located 80km south-east of Ravenswood , Queensland , Australia . a big brick building with a large enclosed waiting area , ticket facilities and washroom areas while the second platform has a small brick building Tickets are sold out in form of notes and coins by a large tickets system vending machine placed around the waiting area . The machine also allows credit cards and is operated by OneLinkTransit under a government contract managed by the Transport Tickets Authority . The second platform and the waiting area both have a coin only vending machine and an underpass is situated at the end of Flinders street to serve the station
The Glenroy railway station has a distance of 14 ,400km and a mileage of 8 miles 75 chains 82 links .
