One historian said that history concerns only with what happened in the past because history just merely says what had happened in the past . The historian also said that people cannot go back in the past and whatever happened in the past would surely remain as it was . Thus , the

question of should have the United States of America dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki is apparently not a logical thing to ask because what really happened in the past was that the USA had dropped the bomb People will never know what would have happened if the USA did not drop the bomb because people cannot and can never go back in those times to change what had happened before

Albert Einstein wrote to President Franklin Roosevelt on August 2 1939 , telling that the Nazi Germany was purifying uranium-235 that could be used to build an atomic bomb . And because there was a worry among the scientists of Allied nations during World War II that the Nazi Germany might have been developing their own fission-based weapons , Little Boy that was nicknamed after Franklin D . Roosevelt and Fat Man that was nicknamed after Winston Churchill were developed which cause the thousands deaths of Japanese population in Hiroshima and Nagasaki Before , the United States was financing only small amount for the uranium weapons . But in 1942 , General Leslie Groves held the project which was called The Manhattan Project ' It was a project to develop the first nuclear weapon which was an atomic bomb that is considered as the most destructive way of killing people known to man because of the reason that when it is detonated , it has more than one effect . Nikita Khrushchev said that the survivors would envy the dead because of the great effect of atomic bomb . American physicist Robert Oppenheimer scientifically led this so-called The Manhattan Project ' The United States invested a very big amount for this project just to meet their goal which was to produce fission-based explosives before Germany could This project was centralized in a secret laboratory in Los Alamos , New Mexico . In the same year , the gun-type fission weapons which were Little Boy ' and Thin Man ' and the plutonium implosion bomb which was Fat Man ' were produced . Harry S . Truman which was a Vice President that time was told for the first time , after the death of President Franklin D . Roosevelt , about the secret wartime project . There were difficulties in making the plutonium bomb works and because of that , Truman decided to have a nuclear test that was done in the desert north Alamogordo , New Mexico . The nuclear test was code-named Trinity ' and the device used was nicknamed The Gadget . The test turned out successful and the news regarding the success...
