Over the years , a significant advancement to the quality of mental health care has been seen alongside the improvements , in terms of the services

rendered and the programs adapted all of which has proven beneficial to patients . Over the years , the proposed notion that mental illness is strictly confined to the solace of facility institute has drastically been changed with the advent of co-therapies and collaborative care This is the main thrust in the philosophy proposed by managed care . The idea that ones , illness can be greatly addressed and cured by a group of various sciences and disciplines integrated into a program of care . A goal oriented , objective driven approach that revolutionized the way mental illness is approached upon . Thus brings us to the main concern of this . One of the ways in which the manage care philosophy affects the mental health care service is through service integration . We all know that managed care is the sum are rolled into a goal oriented , objective specific design approach which enables all aspect of care to be provided to a specific demographic , and in this particular case - mental illness .
