Health care professionals and providers have been in the limelight of the public domain for not providing accessible , reliable , and affordable health care services to the poor . The poor have therefore been subjected to risks and hazards , which are life threatening due to this ignorance of our medical professionals and providers and hence it is the responsibility of the government (the main health care provider for the poor

, which is conscious of the goodness of its people to come up with strategies , which will address this problem . This paper seeks to give some of the strategies which could be implemented to make the health care delivery system more responsive to the needs of the poor people in our community

One of the first strategic is to carry out a compressive research to identify the exact problems facing the poor people in that particular society because different people are subjected to different problems such as malnutrition , expensive and substandard health care services as well as inaccessible health care facilities . Defining the problem will create room for proper policy decisions and budget allocation and hence kick start the process of providing good health care facilities
