1 . The government should play a more aggressive role in enhancing the health care system . In doing so , the government should also allow the market forces to give their input in the mode of operation of the health care system of the country . The government should take on a more active role in the health care system but they also have to ensure that they modify the current laws that have restricted the

The necessary changes that the government should make can start at improving the current payment schemes for hospitals , physicians as well as other professionals in the field of health care . The inefficiency of the various medicare systems could be attributed to the improper distribution of budget . It would be better if group payments are given in large amounts so that diagnosis or treatment group would get paid with the necessary amount to a hospital rather than doing everything per procedure . In relation to this , it will also give hospitals the opportunity to individually assess the most effective means to render care . Moreover , it would be better if there is an independent body that will oversee the accountability of these hospitals and give the necessary penalties for those who will not adhere to their standards . By doing so , hospitals will be more motivated to improve their services
