Modern technologies and developments have enabled countries to devote funds in technological research , inventions and innovations . The use of nuclear energy has reduced the pressure on usage of the limited natural resources through hydroelectric power production . When nuclear energy is produced , emissions of radiations may occur and leak to the environment if the nuclear plant isn 't well maintained , hence resulting to devastating effects to the mankind . Due to these technological advances there is a need

of regulating these hazardous emissions . This research will identify the United States Agency which is responsible in regulating these hazardous materials and the reasons why that particular agency is suitable in carrying out this mandate
