The use of nuclear energy has reduced the pressure on usage of the limited natural resources through hydroelectric power production . When nuclear energy is produced , emissions of radiations may occur and leak to the environment if the nuclear plant isn 't well maintained , hence resulting to devastating effects to the mankind . Due to these technological advances there is a need

of regulating these hazardous emissions . This research will identify the United States Agency which is responsible in regulating these hazardous materials and the reasons why that particular agency is suitable in carrying out this mandate

Environmental hazards in the United States are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA ) which actually deals will the protection of nature 's limited and natural resources .
