Introduction

Citizens of United States have long live under the belief that democracy is the best ideology and thus , deserve to be fight for . Nevertheless we have also heard theories regarding the link of democracy and political violence . The United States have been performing efforts to promote democracy whether through a direct intervention (like Vietnam ) or through subtle political and economic cooperation . During that experience we have often witness that in some regions , democracy can

In this I am observing the process of democratization in two Asian countries , in to understand how democracy really affects a society , in terms of human security . Before the discussion however , I will first provide a literature review regarding theories about the relationship between democratization and human security , in the Issue Background Chapter . In the next chapters I will define how Taiwan and South Korea fit into the theoretical map Issue Background : Democratization and Human Security
