Human resource is a universal term intended to comprise a broad range
of activities . Human Resource working takes account of employing and
firing workers , making organizational plans and determining business
culture subsequent to a merger /acquisition , dealing with worker
communications , making benefits plans , following the map of government
rules , coping with lawful issues , and arranging strategy and plans for
evaluating implementation , recompensing , acknowledging , and training
workers . Human Resource does not contain one action or purpose but a
great system of them . Overall , Human Resource brings up all that

competitive advantage in the course of the HRM practices is watchful

whereas technology has generated a different range of chances for

Southwest Airlines was measured the most conquering airline company in
the United States . Even as the whole United States airline industry was
rolling in serious losses after the September `01 terrorist attacks ,
Southwest was doing well in announcing moderate profits . Furthermore ,
when almost all transporters started dismissing thousands of workers ,
Southwest remained to employing . This competitive advantage encourages
an exclusive culture of ``enjoyable at place of work . A delighted
worker is a productive worker and Southwest places their workers prior
to their customers (``Southwest Airlines , 2007 .
In the HRM practices , Southwest attempted to build a culture of being
concerned for workers in the entirety of their life , not merely at work .
There is no enchanted method . It is similar to making a huge building ,
it acquiring thousands of many pieces . The intangible resources are more
essential than the physical resources . People are able to go and pay
money for airplanes from Boeing and ticket counters , but they are not
able to purchase the Southwest culture . Southwest Airlines is committed
to the greatest excellence of customer service presented with a
sensation of kindness , thoughtfulness , personal satisfaction , and
corporation spirit (``STRATEGIC HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT , 2001 .
