Business is always face with many challenge , challenges such as customer retentions , employee benefits and even improving market reach are just some of the many issues that needs to be considered . That is also why there are instances where companies formed partnership in to have greater potential of improving market reach and also combined their process and business to achieve higher financial growth . In this it will also be the main focus of the study , where HP as one of the biggest company in the world has formed a partnership with EDS . HP is a global company , operating in more than 170 countries around the world Its main services includes : IT infrastructure , global services , business and home computing as well as image and printing . For EDS , it has been known for IT services where the benefit of combining both services will be a major potential for growth for both of the company

HP is known to be one of the biggest providers of IT product sales and support in the world . Most especially it has created a big difference when it also has formed partnership with Compaq . Its main services includes : IT infrastructure , global services , business and home computing as well as image and printing . For the FY 2008 reported last April 20 , 2008 , HP 's revenue was this year , the company has confirmed that it was buying technology services of another company named EDS for 25 a share or an amount 13 .9 billion USD . HP considered this an excellent move since EDS has shown better performance in its services revenue amounted to 16 .6 billion USD which is expected to close second half this year .
