We often hear the words on news about `import and export ' and `exchange and `market ' and so many other terms . In the most competitive and changing scenario around the globe , the most frequent and important word used by the economists and leaders of the country is the word `trade which sums up all the above terms . Trade is thus an

important aspect of a nation 's economy and is a key element which contributes towards an economy . But this is just a main crux of the situation . There is more to trade then this one single paragraph and its history goes back long back

DEFINITION

Trade can be defined in a layman 's term as an exchange by one party with another . This exchange can either be of goods , services or even both This is a voluntary process i .e . no single party is compelled to do it by undue influence or any other form of coercion . The word trade is more on a complex side . It is commonly known as simply transaction . The place or mechanism where the trade takes place is called a market . This exchange generally takes form through the use of money which is a negotiable instrument on which trade takes place (The Free Dictionary 2010
