THE NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Author College /University Date ABSTRACT This research shall focus on analysis and examination of the national security policy of the United States of America , focusing on the issues contained therein , including their combat against terrorism , the preservation of democracy and finally , their commitment towards the upholding of values by which influenced their country . It would specifically focus on war on terrorism being the most important aspect of the national security policy of the United States of America considering

the aftermaths of the September 11 terrorist attacks on two of the most important infrastructures : the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington D .C . theless , it would also focus on the other aspects of the national security policy now that the security issues of the country have changed with the onset of the twenty-first century . The study aims to answer the following questions how does the national security policy of the United States of America influence the policies of nations who are also working hand in hand with the said country to combat terrorism ? Finally , how did the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon in Washington , D .C . influenced the national security policy of the United States
It is in relation with these questions that the researchers shall employ an analysis of secondary data to efficiently review the literature that is of vital importance to the discussion of this . In the same manner , the research shall be purely qualitative in nature to address the purposes and questions of the study , considering the different advantages it has over the other methods . The researcher also gives importance to the application of the National Security Analysis adopted by the National Security Analysis department of the John Hopkins University to ensure a proper examination of the at hand

INTRODUCTION
The battle between liberty and greatest struggles that the twentieth century faced . However , this struggle ended with victory of the so-called forces of freedom that was perceived to be the elements needed for national success : freedom democracy and free enterprise . In line with this , the twenty-first century gave importance to these values as they preserve these to ensure the protection of human rights . In the same manner , countries that are enjoying political and economic freedom are those who are said to be assured of prosperity . The United States of America is one of the countries that uphold these values . Because of this , the United States makes this a very important aspect of their national security policy and the strategies that come with this , believing that the possession of these values are the reasons behind their unparalleled military strength and great economic and political influence
