Abstract

According to chapters nine and ten of the Gospel of Mark , Jesus continued to teach his disciples about the importance of the messages given by God . The themes of love , equality , and brotherhood revolve around the passages of these chapters . However , two prophecies about his death made his disciples worry and in turn made them focus on what they assume as the last teachings of Jesus Christ . They knew that if

they continued to carry that worry , they would fail to hear the good news that God has tasked Jesus - who was not really bothered about it at all - to deliver to the people . This would compare the teacher 's thoughts about these passages with the commentaries of Hilda Bright and would also present the author 's own thoughts about the said passages of the Gospel of Mark
