`Glengarry Glen Ross` movie reveiw
Movie Review Glengarry Glen Ross is a movie that depicts the life of a salesman wherein the end measure of success is closing a sale and making a deal The movie tells the story of a group of salesmen who have different personalities and approaches in selling and this was manifested well in the portrayal of the characters . One gets a glimpse of the world of a salesman in this movie , wherein convincing the client to buy what is offered them takes a life of it 's own , it can range from product

selling to relationship selling . The characters are the following : Roma the top performer , Levine the old salesman , Moss the dark-minded salesman Aaronow the bit salesman and Williamson the office manager . The movie in general is an eye-opener in the sense that it gives the viewer an inside look at what a salesman is and how they do their work . It shows how salesmen are trapped into doing everything they can and exploiting the weaknesses of others in to make that sale . A dark side to the movie is how each character scams and connives with each other to get ahead of the pact . The movie started with the announcement of the sales contest wherein the top performer gets the Cadillac and the two losers gets fired . The ensuing days is characteristic of individual survival each man for his own was the credo and Roma made quite a performance in fooling the viewers to think that he was being kind to Levine . Moreover Levine and even Moss are pitifully aware that they could not compete with the younger salesmen and if they do not use wit and deviousness then they would surely not stand a chance . The movie commences in the part when Levine admits to breaking in the office and how Williamson and Roma share over the spoils of Levine 's foolishness
What kind of leader is Williamson ? What is he trying to accomplish
Williamson is a rule abiding employee , he makes it a point to be strict and implement the s of the company as it is . He tries to be upright and righteous but he does not lead by example . He s his team to make good on the sales contest but give preferential treatment to Roma and puts up with Levine only because of his age but sees him as incompetent . He is a controlling and autocratic leader he guards the sales leads with his life , not giving in to Moss ' offer for a part of the commission upon a sale , at first one would think that he has a strong character when he refused the offer to sell the leads , but one would be disappointed with his connivance with Roma when the opportunity to make more money was there . It looked like Williamson was just waiting for the opportunity to make a bigger score . He is controlling because he made it sure that he knew everything , that he had a hold over...
