His military achievements have received less attention as there were no full blown military operations .He was criticized by his contemporaries for lethargy as he believed in first constituting a powerful force and then engaging his enemies . He had him the qualities of good general as he knew that the strategy or the capability of withholding the battle for long time wears the enemy .
