(Full Name of Student (Name of the Professor /Instructor (Subject (Date of Submission Gender Across Societies Although there is a vast difference between Asian and Middle Eastern cultures in terms of mores and traditions , such traditions having been handed from generations still influence people in their present society Old time traditions and practices also have an authority over today 's political position in every country , cultural practices such as in marriage , child rearing and role of sexuality or gender . For example it has been said that due to ancient tradition of preserving

morality to the believers of Islam , women are secluded in their society to avoid committing sin with the opposite sex . Thus , as many people observed there is no gender equality in the Middle East and that sexism can be seen in any Muslim community . Men are the lords and no one is more supreme above them . This observation may be true and private but this view sometimes depended according to the views of those who are opposite in their culture . Many Muslim women enjoy political and social rights and covering their head with scarf or veil is enough . In Egypt , women have recently been granted their rights to divorce their husbands . In Tunisia , abortion was legalized but polygamy is strictly prohibited There were already Muslim women ministers like in Syria , Egypt , Iraq and Tunisia . Iran even had her woman as vice president . Although generally speaking , people think that religion has played its role in putting women...
