Talking about Class first , it is the arrangement of the people with respect to their economic , occupation , power , and status within a society . class and status . Classes are usually divided in a few categories such as , upper class , upper middle class lower middle class , working class , and lower class . Upper class consists of people who are top professionals , have white collar jobs , and are elite . Middle class includes those who are professional and earn good enough to survive and flourish . People having Clerical jobs and other blue collar jobs are included in the Working class , whereas those who are underemployed or unemployed are called lower class people . The status also rises by the increase in power a person if is not rich but has power , is counted in the upper or middle class .
