Abstract

Gender is a much too general of a term to provide a subjective perspective on . However , in this , I aim to establish my perspective on gender by particularly presenting my position towards the fact that differences in gender must not hinder a man and a woman 's equal chances in life

Perspective on Gender Equality

Naturally , a person 's gender is determined by means of the biological organ that he or she possesses

upon birth . Historically , a newborn 's gender ultimately concludes his or her future status in life . This world is predominantly a man 's world , and the women of yesterday have socially and emotionally suffered this fact . It is an inconvenient truth that men are considered more powerful than women . This is actually much more evident in the past decades when women did not have the power to vote and the right to education . They were treated like lesser creatures whose main purpose was to procreate and fulfill men 's pleasure

Things may be much different today . Many things have changed . Women have learned to fight for equality and justice . Betty Friedan had pioneered the feminist movement in the 1920s which led to realizations of how unjust the treatments and considerations were for women Ultimately , it led on to more feminist protests which are the primary reason why women today are gradually crawling out of their way from their stereotypical classification as full-time housewives...
