Gay Marriage
Gay Marriage Today we debate the question whether gays may receive official social permission for marrying . This logical consequence could have been foretold . Notwithstanding , most of the people , who wished only to be kind , had never thought that common human kindness would require them to approve of homosexual marriage . At present , they wonder what to do . We could admittedly say that while heterosexual sex is people 's ideal , they should not discriminate against gays . This conclusion , however , while attractive , is not as good as it sounds . For instance , one would hardly

hold that gay marriage and family must be community 's ideal and consequently advocate homosexual marriage . I realize why someone hotly and instinctively opposes to the idea of gay marriage . Yet even in an era when marriage has fallen on hard times , it still is the most important stabilizing influence in society . Bleak tabloid headlines to the contrary , during any given year more than 85 percent of married couples have sex only with each other .
