Among the issues that the society is confronted these days is the same-sex marriage . This has been a of discussion in the past even up to now . The idea of same-sex marriage has created various outcries from both sides with the gays and lesbians standing up their rights to equal treatment and with the moralists , critics , conservative organization and religious sectors stating that it is very unethical and immoral . Basically , marriage as we define them is a sacred union between two different sexes who

love each other and commit each other to lifelong partnership . And this union sacred as it is should be respected by everybody . Pertaining to the question and issue at hand , I believe that same-sex marriage shouldn 't be allowed and thus should be abolished

Conservative organizations , religious sectors , moralists , critics point out their views regarding the issue stating that it is very immoral and considered a mortal sin due to the fact that the relationship itself is not viable to produce offspring and structure an ordinary family . They asserted that same-sex marriage if legalized and approved into the law is deemed an insult to God as well as to the society (Kurtz 35 . They also consider it as repulsive and morally wrong that could create a negative impact in the society . Thus , it shouldn 't be practiced among people . Importantly , everyone should learn the values and follow the law of nature . Furthermore , gays and lesbians , they pointed out that people should learn how to accept the differences of everyone and that , by disapproving and depriving their rights to the society is considered discrimination . While gays and lesbians may have a point regarding the issue on treating them like any normal individual , it cannot be denied that same sex marriage is absolutely wrong as marriage is intended to two opposite sexes willing to commit each other throughout their life , unified in social and legal dependence for the rationale of producing and founding a family .
