Abstract

There is no doubt that the internet technology has revolutionized communication in the modern world . Today people can freely communicate from any part of the world on the cyberspace which has turned the world into a global village . The most important aspect of internet technology is the unconditional flow of information it has introduced . It is indisputable that internet technology has promoted the freedom of speech like no other technology ever . This paper discusses how the internet has proved to be an important tool in promoting free speech . It also discusses censoring of information and hate speech which have became important issues concerning free speech in the internet
