In ancient Greece , people had many philosophical concerns and assumptions that the concept of free will did not exactly appeal to the philosophers

Thus the element of human and rational choice became the center of attention . Free will as a form of psychological category implies the evaluation of human actions identifying a certain deed to be positive or negative . We are the master of our thoughts and actions . The potential scholar who could have been raised in the family the members of which worship scientific innovations and progress finds himself /herself in identical situation as well . Consequently , human decisions are motivated by family and stereotypes
Free will can be classified according to its perceived bases . One such basis is rational deliberation , which means that free will allows a person to make a choice depending on his values and desires
