Ethical codes are social issues and are important thing a person can do for him or her self . A personal ethical codes or moral principles involves the philosophies and ideas that are essence in the life of an individual and allows the individual to say I believe this and therefore I will not do this or I will do this . Ethical codes are a written document that an individual may look to every day and acts as

a reminder of what the individual believes in and as well as an encouragement to proceed on with the daily walk (Buchanan , 2003

While developing personal ethical codes an individual is supposed to evaluate his or her life . He or she is supposed to note down whom they are . This act as a reflection of what they believe they are . The individuals are supposed to write down all the traits which have ever been mentioned to them . Secondly , an individual developing personal ethical codes is supposed to think of what he or she believes and prepare a list of his or her ethical believes (D 'Andrea , 2006 . In writing down the personal believes an individual is not supposed to worry about why he or she believes in them but rather is supposed to write down as many beliefs as he or she can think of .
