Introduction : The Issue

The fact pattern portrays several small stories within a common story of Friends , Inc which is shared by all the characters - Monica Joey , Chandler , Ross , Rachel , Will , Grace and Kramer . Chandler 's supervisor . However , the one thing common between them is that they are all employed at Friends , Inc , an organization . The fact pattern therefore lays out the interrelations between the employees and the attitudinal impact on the professional lives of such young people

We find the difference in the treatment of skilled and low skilled or unskilled employees and also the value of education in the work scenario , which may even , bring about a big difference in people 's lives and attitudes . This might also remind us of the emergence of white collared workers with the industrial revolution and the blue collared workers were always differed from them . In this fact pattern , the blue collared workers wants to become a part of the engineers ' team , which Chandler resents aloud to Monica . This also portrays how the white collared workers wanted to enjoy the benefits and the hierarchy using their degrees and educational values against the poor laborers whom hey to keep as their subordinates

Facts

The facts open with Joey asking Chandler for some help and claiming that he was disciplined for the first time in his ten years of service He was disciplined because he had used the computers and went to some wrong sites for a minute each . These sites could off course refer to a dating or chat site barred in a professional set up or even a pornographic site . However Chandler demands that Joey should have known this better since he was there with the organization for long and is unwilling to listen to his explanation that he was not good with computers . This shows the hierarchy maintained in a typical European work system unlike the modern American set up which is rather a flat structure . This attitudinal domination on behalf of Chandler also reflects a pride hidden in his own qualification and position in the union , which perhaps gave him the power to be approached for help as well as to tell Joey what is right and wrong

These low skilled people were evidently not trained in handling the machines that well . Also visiting wrong sites cannot be more offensive than three of the EUA members having marijuana .
