I am currently applying to the Master of Science in Human Services (General Human Services Specialization ) program of Capella University But my chances of being accepted have been trimmed down because my undergraduate degree Grade Point Average (GPA ) was so low , only 2 .0 With this regard , I would like to request your good office to kindly consider my

case

My undergraduate GPA was so low because of very adverse events . I was having a lot of family problems back then . My child 's mother was on drugs , specifically crack Cocaine , and she was maltreating our child . I decided to take legal actions , so I d a child abuse case against her in court . I fought to get legal rights to our child . I was under a lot of mental stress , and I still had to work two full time jobs to financially support my studies and to make ends meet for me and my family

understand that I need to get a master 's degree to make life better for my child and me . After I graduate , I plan to work with children with problems and handle child abuse cases . I want to help children who suffer what my child had suffered , and parents who undergo what I have undergone . I want to be of social service to my fellowmen especially those in need . Moreover , I have taken graduate classes at Troy University , and my GPA there was 2 .8 . So I believe I would do very well in Capella University I pledge I would do very well . I also believe that Capella University would not deny me admission to high value master 's degree to make the most of my potentials
