The European Union has mainly been a success as an international organization

The European Union

The Most Effective and Successful

International Union between Neighboring Countries

Introduction

Several movements have already been established among many nations around the world after the two major world wars that marked the chaotic years of the human history . With regards this particular fact , the European regions have also decided to put up and organization that would serve as a link between all the nations making up the said areas of the globe . It is the aim of this organization to avoid the conflicts that may be brought

about by political and economic issues between the relationships of the people especially that of the officials of the countries involved in the said modern treaty of unity

What the Union Stands For

This particular union of nation has actually raised eyebrows as they began to cooperate with each other towards economic and political oneness . Most likely , the people who were standing as viewers of the emergence of the said organization were not able to see most of the future success possibilities of the said movement for peace and economic security . The beginning of the organization 's emergence in the European society met with several difficulties though , making it harder for the people and critics around the world to the possibility of its impending success . As for example , reports attest to the fact that despite all the efforts that have been made toward greater unity , there is , both inside and outside Europe , concern over the developments on the Continent There is also much uneasiness about how to deal with ethnic conflicts such as those in the disintegrating Balkan region - first the war in Bosnia and then the conflict in Kosovo . EU member nations often disagree on how to handle such conflicts in Europe and beyond . Since the EU is not a federation of states and has no common foreign policy , national interests dominate all too often . Clearly , national interests are a huge obstacle to a `United States of Europe ' Europe has yet another pressing problem - high unemployment . On an average , 10 percent of the labor force is unemployed . This means that more than 16 million people are out of work (Craig , et al , 2003 , 24 )1 . In many countries young people , who form almost one quarter of EU population , have put forth great efforts to find jobs but without success . No wonder many people feel that fighting mass unemployment is Europe 's number one challenge ! However through the years , the said Union of European-area countries has been trying to meet the challenge and have been successfully making challenges within the economic system that they are trying to regulate Most often than not , it could be observed that every now and then , the said Union releases several programs and parliamentary adjustments that are designed to primarily assist the neighboring countries in fulfilling their dreams of economic stability
