Ethics in Workplace Physical Privacy Issue In the society , each individual has their unique characteristic and nature which the constitutional amendment of the legal and social structure established this individuality factor to be important and must be protected . As such , the legal structure established laws and social regulations mandating the right of each person for their individuality and the privacy enticed with it . Each person thus , has the right for personal privacy wherein they can seclude their own individuality in physical , mental , emotion and other dimensions of personality . At what

given cause , this privacy matter must be protected and respected provided it is not interfering or superimposing the personal privacy right of others
Implementing the privacy right issue in the actual society is indeed complicated due to the contrasting views and opinion of the population towards . Mainly , these different perspectives are influenced and based on the position and ideals of each party regarding the issue . As such the implementation and application of the privacy right of each individual on the actual social scenario is based on the priority of each party based on their moral views and personal welfare in which both of the involved party consider to be their own right . Regardless the constitutional structure of the general society considers the personal privacy of each people to be the highest priority in the social structure
Consider for example the physical privacy issue in the employment environment . Many employers and business corporations have established their own grounds and regulations in their work environment wherein certain factors and limitations are placed on the personal privacy matter of their employees . Some of the manifestations of these concepts are in the necessity of some policies and regulation in the work environment such as mandatory drug testing , polygraph testing , physical examination and others , and other forms of intervention on the private lives of their employees . Employers view these aspects as a necessity on their part for maximizing the output potential and the quality of labor of their human resources . Employers wish to ensure that their people are physical fit , mentally suited and are able to perform efficient towards their tasks . As such , most of the entity in this side of the issue feels the urge to monitor or even control even the personal lives and activities of their employees
In particular to this issue , the author of this has also experienced an actual manifestation of the physical privacy issue in a working environment in Pizza Hut . The management in this scenario has established certain regulations regarding the physical guidelines of the employees which they must strictly follow such as hair , clothing activities , and others . Because of the ethical grounds of these guidelines , most employees view these guidelines to be a form of management intervention on their personal rights and privacy . The guidelines indeed , as experience by the author of this to be intervening or regulating the personal dimensions of the employees even outside the working environment
