Abstract

Waiters of Hotel restaurant and bar are at a very high risk of acquiring several health diseases . They have the most dangerous job in the company and are continually exposed and victimized of the toxic smoke which could eventually cause their death . Secondhand smoke contains several toxic substances that waiters involuntarily inhale in the workplace Dangers like this must be given importance by the company and the government in to provide the workers their right to have healthy and safety

In a Hotel company , several positions or jobs are involved . Each position also requires different types of responsibilities . Jobs in a Hotel business , among others , includes drivers , bell boys receptionists , room cleaners , bar tenders , waiters , security personnel and chefs . Several risks are involved in the various aforementioned jobs . Risks may include , financial , safety and health . In to balance which among the several jobs in a Hotel company is more risky it should be determined which of the risks mentioned has the biggest probability of realization to the employees

It is observed in a Hotel business , one type of job is a constant victim of a health risk . It is not only a potential risk to such job but rather , it is affecting or victimizing the workers everyday . The victims are the bar and restaurant employees , particularly the waiters The risk or problem that they are exposed to is health problems from inhaling secondhand smokes of cigarettes . Hotel bar and restaurant are the particular place in the company where smokers and nonsmokers congregate . Workers of the particular place are the ones who will spend a lot of time dealing with this toxic smoke
