Human behavior can be said to be a sum total of behaviors shown by individuals and is influenced by culture , emotions , ethics , hypnosis genetics and attitudes (Robert , 1970 . Our behavior is based on cultural , technical and social background which makes us to consciously or unconsciously assume some human behavior . Unpredictability of behavior would make it difficult to control certain aspects of our day to day lives (Malotaux 2008 . Determinism theory supports this argument . According to the theory , all future actions are predetermined including human behavior and the notion of free will does not exist . Determinism asserts that people cannot be held responsible for their actions since their decisions must have been prompted by a prior event .
