. It introduced an initiative known as emiratisation in which both the public and private sectors are required to reserve a certain proportions of their employment positions to the UAE natives . That directive has made it necessary for companies to ensure that they have HR approaches that conform to the measures contained within the directive . This explores the challenges these companies have faced in their HR management with regards to the implementation of the policy . The explores perspectives from both employees and the HR managers to see how each of them has been affected by the policy .
