Electronics .. PESPICE Assignment
Part I Figure 1 The calculations of the necessary DC voltage of V3 and the voltage across R1 are shown in the appendix Drawing the circuit Creating The 1st step is to invoke Orcad_demo\PSPICE\psched .exe After clicking the said application , the PSpice Schematics as shown in Figure 3 pop out Then we create a name SchematicPartI in a folder name PSpice . To do this we click Save ' from the menu and the window shown at the center of Figure 2 will come out . Then we point to the intended

br directory where to save the schematics such as PSpice and type the name like SchematicPartI

Draw the circuit
3 .1 Placing Parts
In drawing the circuit , we begin by placing the parts . In to place the parts , we select the Get New Part from the Draw menu . We can click the Advance ' option to see the symbol before placing . To search for the part we want , we type in the first letter of the component and the corresponding components starting with that letter will appear in front
The parts required to draw this circuit include
3 Resistors
1 npn BJT (Q2N2222
2 pnp BJTs (Q2N2907A
DC voltage supply (VDC
AC voltage supply (VSIN
4 Ground pins (GND
Figure 3
3 .2 Drawing wires
After placing the parts , select Draw- wire from the menu and connect them as shown in Figure 1
Figure 4
3 .3 Set the attributes of the Parts
To label and set the attributes just double click on the part . A window as shown in Figure 6 . Change the reference designator (REFDES ) and the value (VALUE . Using the said procedure , make sure to set the values and reference designator according to Figure 1
Figure 5
Check V and I
Once the circuit is drawn , check the V and I on the toolbar so that the voltages and currents will be shown at the junctions when the simulation is run
Set V3 Attributes
V3 should have everything set to 0 except for the
-frequency : 1kHz
-Vampl : 0 .1V
-VOFF : 0 .771V (see calculations
This is done by clicking on the VSIN symbol of V8 . A window as shown in Figure 6 will appear . Edit the VOFF to 0 .771 V as calculated
Figure 6
Set Simulation Setup
The transient analysis conditions has to be set up prior to the analysis . This is done by selecting Analysis - Setup . A window as shown in Figure 8 will appear . For this particular circuit we check the boxes for transients , temperature and bias point detail to enable them
Figure 7 Set Temperature and Transient Conditions
Click the Temperature and set the value to 41 ?C (27 2 7
Figure 8
Click the Transient and set the final time to 2ms as shown in Figure 10 as shown below
Figure 9
Finalize for Simulation
Put current probes on the collector of Q1 and Q3 then save the
The final schematics is shown in Figure 10...
