Another aspect to consider is the funding that it receives from the government . It has been given a 30 allotment of the the year , considering that there are other things that would require the budget , not only the D .A .R .E . program they are on . Because of this D .A .R .E . has been a very costly investment , since it not only eats money , but also has a say on time . The government had spent a lot of money for this venture , seeing that it would benefit them and the people 's lives , since it is what was conceived before of the D .A .R .E program , they consider it as a lifesaver , that it could change the drug situation of the society today
According to the views of those who established D .A .R .E , it is a hand and hand effort that is brought about by the D .A .R .E . certified law enforcers and teachers , along with the participation of the elementary and high school students , their parents , and the community .
