These reforms have worked because output is usually a good indicator of one 's efforts since it is measurable and gives tangible results . They are factual and consider each subject individually . This enables assessment of students abilities in various subjects

The No Child Left behind Act is among the most recent education reforms in the country . It was signed by the president in the year 2001 . It focuses on reinforcing a standard in the education system . It requires that teachers should be highly qualified . This implies that they must be in possession of a degree , they must be fully licensed and they must show their capability by passing a number of tests offered by the state

In addition to recruitment of qualified teachers , students must undergo testing in high school . These assessments must be in compliance with current practices within the rest of the country .
