Early childhood which comes at the early years of a child 's schooling is characterized by various attributes and characteristics both on the physical , cognitive and psychosocial aspects . It is a period characterized by hyperactivity in normal circumstances unless the child happens to be affected by various inactivity complications . A varied nature of both physical and cognitive development characterizes the children . With the interactive phenomena , observed as they play they are depicted to assume varied developmental characteristics . At one level , they are active in making their beliefs come in play . Physical groupings of the children centered in terms of age , class of study and sexual dispensations align them in their interactive phenomena .
